I’m Terrie, founder of Globally Delicious. We are changing the way people view vegetarian and plant-based cuisine.
I have spent the last several years traveling the world working with more than 50 chefs and home cooks from over 20 countries to learn the intricacies of vegetarian tastes. Now I am bringing this knowledge to you!
I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years and vegan on and off for about half that time. I wasn’t always a healthy vegetarian/vegan. It is easy to get into the junk food cycle of plant-based eating. Over the years I have invested in learning about nutrition, foods from around the world, spices, herbs, creating recipes and meal planning to help my own family be as healthy as possible.
I created Globally Delicious to share this information. We are passionate about making cooking fun, delicious, easy and accessible to everyone. Our mission is to inspire you to cook and eat whole, real, (mostly) plant-based foods.

I learned how spices can make vegetables delicious. I loved the combination of flavours and how Terrie broke down the recipes to make it easy to recreate at home.
The recipes were easy to follow and the final dishes were amazing. I never knew vegetables could taste so good!

I liked the atmosphere and Terrie’s welcoming approach put me at ease immediately - given I never cook, this was crucial for success.
The recipes are definitely easy enough to confidently recreate at home....I really enjoyed the casual feel of the class. Terrie has a great energy that made me feel very welcome and I liked her teaching style. She encouraged questions and was more than happy to share her knowledge, which hasn't been the case at every cooking class I've been to!
I have been vegetarian for 22 years, and I cook mexican about once a week. I STILL LEARNED STUFF! Little hints about how to cook the beans (adding garlic, peppers to the water or baking soda… amazing!)
